Creative Process:

I make decorative, functional porcelain pottery for the home. Starting with a soft slab of clay, I texture each piece, then stain and glaze with bright colors and a bit of whimsy. The outer surface on most pieces is left unglazed, other than the colored glaze details, then is lightly sanded for a soft matte finish and velvety feel. Each one is a unique piece of everyday art, made to be touched, used and enjoyed.
