Creative Process:

I’ve been working with clay for about 16 years now, full time as a studio potter for the last four. Downing Pottery ismost widely known for a series of mugs depicting Seattle iconography and celebrating its neighborhoods. I recently moved to Tacoma and am in a personal tug of war with one side enthusiastically exploring a new and invigorating arts scene and the other achingly homesick for Georgetown.
